About CHUNG YANG

In 1941, Taichung Daya established Taiwan's first sewing machine manufacturing factory. The predecessor of CHUNG YANG INDUSTRIES was the first-generation founder, Mr. Lai Shi, who founded Sanyang Iron Works in the 1960s and started the business of OEM for sewing machine (sewing machine) repair parts. In 1971, the company was officially renamed as CHUNG YANG INDUSTRIES CO., LTD. , and expanded its scale to include more OEM products and services. In 1975, it began to manufacture model remote control car engines. In 1995, the second generation took over the management, and in 2000, it passed the ISO-9001:2000 quality management system certification.

In 2002, Japanese experts were hired to design and develop a series of two-stroke engines of CHUNG YANG 's own brand, specializing in the professional model 1/5 racing car market, opening up the brand's road. In 2004, it passed the ISO/TS16949:2002 automotive industry quality management system certification and entered the Japanese original automobile OEM market, once again proving the competitiveness and professional processing capabilities of CHUNG YANG INDUSTRIES . Subsequently, it also passed the ISO-9001:2015 quality management system and IATF 16949:2016 automotive industry quality management system certification in 2018.

The third generation joined the company in 2005 and started with on-site experience. They officially took over in 2019. The following year, the trade war, the epidemic and other factors caused negative market growth. The current general manager then actively implemented digital transformation and manufacturing upgrading strategies, established intelligent data analysis application models, achieved rapid response, flexible production and other benefits, and introduced AI value-added applications to develop smart supply chains and smart manufacturing models. In 2023, it passed the ISO-13485:2016 medical device quality management system and was awarded the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Potential Backbone Enterprise Award in 2024, demonstrating the results of the transformation.
